Il giovane belga della Lotto Soudal vince la semiclassica fiamminga davanti Floris Gerts (BMC) e Dimitri Claeys (Verandas Willems), i quali a loro volta nel concitato finale sono riusciti ad anticipare la volata del gruppo, regolata da Danny Van Poppel (Trek). Da segnalare la grintosa prova di Alessandro De Marchi, in fuga sin dalle battute iniziali della corsa.
