PETIT, MAIS PAS TROP PETIT: IL FRANCESE DOMINA IL CRONOPROLOGO DEL LUSSEMBURGO
Con un cronoprologo serale è cominciato lo Skoda-Tour de Luxembourg. La piccola corsa a tappe che si corre nel Granducato prevede, oltre all’ouverture odierna, altre quattro tappe e si concluderà domenica nella stessa capitale dal qiale ha preso il via oggi. La lunghezza di quasi tremila metri è stata utile a delineare la prima classifica generale, ma la vera corsa comincerà di fatto domani.
Tre minuti, cinquantotto secondi e sessantotto centesimi… a tanto ammonta il tempo necessitato ad Adrien Petit , portacolori della Cofidis, per portare a termine la sua fatica e rientrare in albergo indossando la maglia di leader della classifica generale. Al secondo posto, con un tempo maggiore di 2”68, si è piazzato un altro francese, che risponde al nome di Bryan Coquard del Team Europcar, terzo a 3”40 s’incontra un altro “galletto”, il portacolori della Bretagne – Séché Environnement Arnaud Gérard. L’olandese Ramon Sinkeldam del Team Giant, primo dei non francesi, si è piazzato sesto, un posto in meno del primo corridore di casa, il lussemburghese Alex Kirsch, della Cult Energy. Per trovare, invece, il primo degli italiani bisogna scorrere la classifica fino al 22° posto, dove alberga Enrico Gasparotto (Team Wanty Group), staccato di 12″. Più indietro gli altri componenti la sparuta pattuglia italiana: Daniele Ratto, 47°; Kristian Sbaragli, 53°; Davide Frattini, 62°; Federico Zurlo,75°; Alessandro Bazzana, 87° e Simone Antonini, 91°. Un po’ d’Italia è rappresentata anche dalla presenza nella starting list del Team Colombia Coldeportes. Il primo rappresentante degli “Escarabajos”, guidati in ammiraglia da Valerio Tebaldi, è Leonardo Duque, 36°.
Domani la prima tappa si snoderà da Luxembourg a Clemency, con una lunghezza di 212,6 km, e prevederà 6 GPM, tra seconda e prima categoria, con un’altitudine che varierà tra i 238mslm e i 418mslm. La corsa si concluderà con un circuito finale di quasi 14 km da ripetere tre volte
